What is IEP Momentum? IEP Momentum by Special Ed Resource is the parent membership at members.ser.team for families who want practical guidance, expert feedback, and real support as they navigate evaluations, meetings, services, goals, and school communication. Led by Dr. Michelle Kipphut, Ed.D. and Dr. Christina Singh, Ed.D., it gives parents one place to track progress, submit documents, access resources, join live Q&A sessions, and stay connected to a moderated parent community that understands the IEP process.

If you’re reading this, you already know how this feels.

Parents are not struggling because they do not care. They are struggling because the system expects fluency in jargon, timelines, goals, evaluations, and school strategy that most families were never taught.

Problem 01

The IEP reads like a legal contract.

Present levels, PLAAFP, FAPE, LRE, ESY. Somewhere inside pages of school language, your child’s actual needs get harder to see, and too many parents sign because they feel like they are supposed to.

Problem 02

You walk into meetings alone.

Seven staff members have done this hundreds of times. Most parents have done it once or twice. The meeting moves fast, and clarity usually arrives after the room has already moved on.

Problem 03

You don’t know what you can demand.

Parents are rarely told what rights are actionable in the moment: what to request in writing, when consent matters, what to challenge, and when Prior Written Notice changes the conversation.

The Solution

Everything parents need to advocate with more confidence, in one portal. This is not a generic parenting group and it is not a one-time consultation. It is a support system parents can actually use between meetings instead of waiting until the pressure is already high.

01

My IEP Progress Tracker

See the process clearly instead of guessing where you are.

Track every major IEP phase with 39 milestones built to show what has happened, what is next, and where follow-up is needed.

02

Resource Library

Pull the right guide or template when the moment hits.

Access 98 guides, templates, and fillable forms covering meeting prep, parent concerns, evaluation requests, goal review, progress tracking, dispute documentation, and more.

03

Included IEP Review Credit

Put expert eyes on the actual document.

Monthly founders get 1 IEP Review credit. Annual founders get 2 IEP Review credits: one now, and a second one when the next IEP cycle comes around.

04

Live Q&A Sessions

Bring the question before the next meeting instead of after it.

Join live expert-led Q&A sessions with Dr. Michelle Kipphut, Ed.D. and Dr. Christina Singh, Ed.D. The first live Q&A is set for June 18.

05

Moderated Parent Community

Stay in a room where parents understand the same pressure.

Connect inside state-specific community spaces for Arizona, Texas, Florida, California, and more, with moderated support around the real issues parents are facing.

06

Member-Rate Extra Support

Go deeper when your situation needs more than templates.

Additional IEP Reviews and 1:1 consultations are available inside the portal at member rates when your child’s case needs deeper support.

The goal is not just more information. The goal is helping parents make better decisions, ask stronger questions, submit the right documents, and walk into meetings better prepared for what is actually happening.

IEP Momentum by Special Ed Resource is built around the real parent experience, not generic encouragement.

What IEP support actually means for parents.

Good IEP support helps parents slow the process down, understand what each section of the plan is doing, recognize where the real decisions are being made, and know what to do next. That includes reviewing present levels, testing whether goals are measurable, spotting service gaps, using procedural rights well, and documenting concerns clearly before the school controls the pace.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a course or an ongoing membership?

It is an ongoing membership built to support parents as new questions and school decisions come up over time.

Is this only for parents already in a difficult school situation?

No. It is useful both for parents trying to prevent problems and for parents already dealing with confusing or frustrating IEP issues.

What is an IEP Review?

An IEP Review is an expert review of your child’s current IEP, with personalized feedback on what looks solid, what may be missing, where language is too vague, and what questions or changes you may want to raise next.

How many IEP Reviews are included?

Monthly founders get 1 IEP Review credit. Annual founders get 2 IEP Review credits: one now, and a second one when the next IEP cycle hits. Additional IEP Reviews are available inside the portal at member rates.

Does this replace an advocate or attorney?

Not in every case. Many families can make major progress with better guidance, stronger preparation, clearer resources, and expert document feedback. For legal disputes or highly escalated cases, outside legal support may still be appropriate.

Do monthly and annual members get different access?

No. They are the same membership. The difference is only how you choose to pay.

Can I get direct help if my situation is more complex?

Yes. Additional IEP Reviews and 1:1 consultations are available inside the portal at member rates when deeper support is needed.

Is there a refund?

Yes. There is a real 30-day refund window, with the exception that completed IEP Reviews are non-refundable.

Your child deserves a parent who knows their rights.
