Michelle is a compassionate educator dedicated to helping all students reach their full potential. She believes in building strong relationships, encouraging persistence, and exploring every possible avenue to support student learning. Known for her analytical and strategic approach, Michelle applies her commitment to lifelong learning daily, helping students feel successful even when learning is challenging.
Michelle’s desire to never stop learning has led to her earning a Bachelor’s of Education in Biology (and quickly realizing special education is where her heart resided), so she went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Education in Secondary Administration, an Educational Specialist Degree in Elementary Mathematics, and finally an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Michelle has been published on ProQuest with her dissertation. She is constantly learning new ways to encourage students to continue their learning in the classroom. She believes this approach has greatly impacted the students she’s worked with who are particularly apathetic to the learning process.
With 11 years of teaching experience, Michelle now serves as Process Coordinator, working with educators on special education compliance for the past five years. In addition, she is a Lead Educator, Special Education Tutor, and Advocate with Special Education Resource, where she has been helping students one-on-one for four years. Michelle is passionate about finding innovative ways to engage students—especially those who may feel disengaged—and looks forward to continuing to make a meaningful difference in their learning journeys.

With over two decades of immersion in the field of special education, Christina offers a comprehensive professional background that spans from direct student support to executive leadership. Her career trajectory includes diverse roles such as pull-out and resource teacher, culminating in her tenure as the Director of Special Education for a charter school.
This extensive experience is backed by a robust academic foundation, including a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
As a dual licensed educator in the state of Colorado, she holds certifications in both General Education and K-12 Special Education, allowing her to effectively bridge the gap between core curriculum and individualized support. Christina’s instructional and administrative reach extends across the entire educational continuum, having successfully served and advocated for students ranging from kindergarten through the collegiate level.
