Built for the Way NH Districts Actually Work

When a student in your district needs instruction between placements — or cannot attend school due to medical, behavioral, or disciplinary reasons — instruction must begin quickly.

Districts often need qualified teachers immediately, without a lengthy hiring process or credential concerns.
That’s where we help.

SpecialEdResource.com provides certified special education teachers to school districts across New Hampshire. When required, instruction is delivered by NH-licensed educators who work directly with the student — not supervisors overseeing from a distance.

Our model is built specifically for the short-term, high-intensity situations districts face most often, such as students receiving focused instruction for several weeks or months while transitioning between placements.

Because we staff for these situations, districts get instruction started quickly — without the wait.

What We Provide to NH Districts

Homebound & Between-Placement Instruction

When a student can’t attend school — whether due to a medical situation, a behavioral episode, or a gap between placements — instruction can’t just stop. Our NH-licensed teachers step in quickly, deliver structured, IEP-aligned sessions virtually, and keep your district compliant while the student stays engaged academically. This is our most common engagement with NH districts, and it’s what our model is specifically built to support.

1:1 Special Education Tutoring

For students who need targeted intervention beyond what the classroom can provide, our certified special education specialists deliver personalized 1:1 instruction aligned directly to each student’s IEP goals. Every session is documented, and your team receives regular progress updates.

In-School & After-School Group Tutoring

Need to serve multiple students efficiently? Our group sessions are capped at six students — small enough to deliver real individualized attention, structured enough to be cost-effective for your district’s budget.

Behavioral & Executive Functioning Support

For students whose biggest barrier isn’t content knowledge — it’s self-regulation, organization, focus, or task initiation — we provide specialized instruction targeting the executive functioning skills that make academic progress possible. This support is often the missing piece for students who have tried other interventions without lasting results.

On NH Licensure — Here's Exactly Where We Stand

We know this matters to some districts and not others. So we’ll be straightforward:

We have NH-licensed special education teachers on our team, with more completing the licensure process in the coming weeks. For districts that require NH licensure, your students will be taught by an NH-licensed educator — not supervised by one. That’s a meaningful distinction, and we don’t blur it.

For districts where NH licensure isn’t a requirement, every teacher on our team is a certified special education specialist. That’s not a consolation — it’s the same standard we hold across our entire organization. Special education is the only thing we do, and our teachers are selected and trained accordingly.

If you’re not sure what your district requires, we’re happy to work through that with you.
