The Measurement Of Success

The Measurement Of Success

The Way Most People Measure Success Can Leave You Feeling Like You Haven’t Accomplished Much

Success should never be measured against the ideal…

Instead, measure success as the difference between where you are now, and where you started.

As adults, our ideal measurement of success can be mammoth. Often times comparing billionaires, celebrities and other wealthy “successful” individuals to our lives.

In children, the same applies. Often children measure success based on their ideal version… Sports star, astronaut, the “rich kid.”

This perspective in adults and children, can leave us feeling like we really haven’t accomplished a whole lot.

However, true success is found when you assess the difference between where you are today and where you started.

Whether that’s IEP goals for children or changes in family, financials and circumstance for adults… This often overlooked perspective can truly be liberating! TRY IT!
